Director of Education Performance Appraisal Mandate
- to meet with the Director as prescribed in the regulation (O. Reg. 83/24)
- to provide feedback to the Director
- to seek input from all Board members into the final appraisal
- to seek input from all stakeholders every second year
- to provide a final written appraisal to the Director
- to ensure the Committee’s deliberations and recommendations are undertaken with integrity and in compliance with its obligations under regulation and related policies
- it is the responsibility of the Chair of the Director Performance Appraisal Committee to provide written confirmation to the Minister that the performance appraisal for the interim or full evaluation cycle, as applicable, has been conducted and that the final performance appraisal report has been adopted by board resolution.

Director's Performance Appraisal Attestations
Effective March 2024, Ontario Regulation 83/2024 requires that the Chair of the Board of Trustees submit attestations to the Ministry of Education at the start of a Director's Performance review cycle, as well as upon completion of the cycle.
